PROBLEMS WITH IDE GOING AWAY

I am running the C++ V5 enterprise suite on both NT and WIN98. on the NT
platform it works fine. However when I try to compile the same thing on the
win98 platform the IDE goes into not responding mode. In both cases I am
using background compiles. the WIN98 system is a loaded system with
256MB memory and 17GB free disk space.

HAS ANYONE ELSE RUN INTO PROBLEMS WITH THIS ?

appreciate any help or direction !

thanks...

Re:PROBLEMS WITH IDE GOING AWAY

Jim,

I haven't seen that this is a general problem. My laptop is a mere P266 with
96MB RAM running Win98 and I haven't seen this particular problem.

Yes, I was hoping to find some insight into the problem.  I am running V5 Pro on Win98.  I have tried turning background compilation off, but that does not help.  It happens several times a day and it seems more as the project gets bigger.
