De{*word*81} runs incredibly slow

I recently had to reinstall XP and BC++Builder 5.  Since then, when
running a program under the de{*word*81}, it is incredibly slow.  The
performance monitor says it is BCB, not the application, that is hogging
the CPU.  Did some setting change that is causing this?

Hi,

Did the setting for Tools | De{*word*81} Options |
Event Log |Window Messages somehow get turned
ON? That could slow things down.
