Installing Component Crashes BCB IDE

No help from the notesgroup but I found and fixed the problem myself.
If anyone cares: I deleted the registry key corresponding to the new
(erroneous) component/package in
HKEY_CURRENT_UXER\Software\Borland\C++Builder\3.0\Known Packages.  IDE
starts up normally now.
