VB's index property - component array ?

VB controls have a index property , using this
you can put an array of  controls on your form
at design time easily .

Is there a similar thing in C++Builder ?

No, there is not.  I'd have to manually create an array and store the
various pointers in it.  THEN you'll have an indexed array of control
pointers
