[C++ Error] E2027 Must take address of a memory location
2005-06-03 07:16:01 PM
I'm having some serious problems with the following bit of code, which
compiles fine as debug but throws the "[C++ Error] E2027 Must take
address of a memory location" if I try and compile a release version.
xlsWB = xlsApp->get_ActiveWorkbook();
xlsWS = xlsWB->Worksheets->get_Item(OleVariant(1));
xlsWS->Columns->AutoFit(); <= this is causing all my problems, if I
comment it out the program compiles fine as a release version. If I
don't comment it then the compiler throws the afformentioned error.
What is really confusing me is the fact that it compiles when making a
debug exe, and the actual function call works fine, all columns are
adjusted for the best fit.
Is there any reason why this doesn't allow me to compile a release version?
Using BCB v6 Pro, WinXP Pro SP1.
