ANN: SMImport suite v 1.20 for Delphi/C++Builder

Good day!

I glad to say that I released the new version of SMImport for
Delphi/C++Builder.

SMImport for Delphi&C++Builder is a native VCL component suite for data
importing into dataset from files of different formats.

The current version supports the import from MS Excel spreadsheets (direct
reading without OLE/DDE), text files (fixed or comma-delimited) and Paradox,
DBase tables.
Also SMImport suite contains the TSMIWizardDlg compound component with
visual dialog for import parameters setting (like wizard in MS Access). With
this component you can control a data import process in one place and give a
flexible application to your end-users. Also you can define the restrictions
for end-users.

Import is available for any dataset which inherits from TDataset type (ADO,
IBX, BDE, DAO etc).

Available the multilanguage resource files.

Short list of new features in current release:
- fast and direct reading of MS Excel spreadsheets! You don't need have the
installed MS Excel application on client computers.
- possibility to save the specification with import properties and to load a
data in few mouse clicks!
- extended Preview mode in wizard dialog
- automatical field mappings for text files (when first row contains field
captions)
- possibility to restrict the access of end-users to some import settings
- and more
Now you can download from site a trial package for Delphi 3/4/5 and/or
C++Builder 3/4/5. The demo application is available too.

You may use the trial version for 30 days with IDE running only. If after 30
days you would like to continue using it, then you should purshase a
license.

Online you can order a product at:
