What is the 'Replace resources' checkbox used for in the 'Project
Options-Advanced Linker' tab, BCB5 Pro. Yes, I have read the few words in
the on-line help but I want to know the practical use of it.

I am trying to get the linker to use my supplied (translated) string
resources over the ones in the LIB's but the linker only complains about
'duplicate strings, using the xxxx (WRONG) version'. The BRC32.EXE command
line tool *should* do the trick but it does not work.
