Why cant I get MAP files?

Why cant I get MAP files?

I'm using 3.0 w/the patch on a 1.0 project and I cannot get the Linker
MAP files to work. There are no *.MAP anywhere on my PC. Am I doing
something wrong?

Did you enable this option via the Project|Options|Linker dialog ? I
think map file is placed in the same dir as project

Yes, but I should have mentioned I was getting a linker error before
the project completed the build.

Hmm, I got this error sometimes with BCB1 after trying some DirectX stuf.
What happens if you switch off the Incremental linker? (e.g. use TLink on
your project)
