Help Please!! BDE problems creating program files

I am outputting my first program using Delphi 4 professional.   I am using
Install Shield Express and when I attempt to run 'Build' I receive an error
message that file BDECFG32.exe is missing.  I installed Delphi 4
progressional with standard installation.  Do I need to purchase a BDE
license?  Or, is there something in the BDE configuration that I need to
store separately.  Thanks

The BDE does not require runtime licenses.  How did you build your install?  Did
you use InstallShield Express to build your Install Program?  Did you remember
to check the full BDE install?

Re:Help Please!! BDE problems creating program files

Jeff,

Yes, I used the full BDE install option with InstallShield Express.  When I
initiated the build option in InstallShield Express I received the message
that the BDECFG32.exe file is missing.  I spoke with support at
InstallShield and they told me that there is a problem with Delphi 4 and
Paradox 7 tables.  I was told to change my project type from Paradox to
standard windows to correct this problem.  I went through the Project
settings and could not find a way to do this.  Of course, they aren't Delphi
experts.   I appreciate the help.
