Problem connection w/ Interbase Opensource

Hi All,

Have a strange problem connecting to a database on an NT machine. Connects
fine on the server, but when going across the network, we get an
'Unavailable Database' error.

We can ping the server just fine from the client using the name and the
TCP/IP address.

Any suggestions??

What results do you get using the connection troubleshooting tools in
IBConsole? Is there a firewall on the server that is blocking access to port
3050?

Could you post your connect string?
(Don't use mapped drive letter)
