What do I need to install on a station

Hi
What do I need to install on a station in a network (C/S or P2P)?
I assume (and may be wrong) I need to install the BDE.
Is there any reason to install the exe file locally and not run it from the
machine used as a server?

You do need to install the BDE. There is no reason not to load the EXE from
the server.
