Windows CE (aka Pegasus) & Delphi
I wonder if Borland are planning any support for Windows CE (aka Pegasus
for Handheld PCs) in future releases of Delphi. I like the idea of being
able to share data between a Palmtop and Desktop PC using the same
application. This would be particularly useful with databases for data
collection. Maybe there could even be a component written for data
synchronisation.
Ideally, Delphi would allow you save the application as a Windows 95 and
/ or Windows CE executable. (As it can for Win 3.1)
I guess the new platform is yet to be proven, but I bet {gentleman's bet
that is :) }, Microsoft are planning such a strategy with future releases
of VB.
