There is a problem with Access 97 and Delphi 2.0. Somewhere along the
line someone is not regconizing long file names. I could not get the
object inspector to show any tables if I had the database in any
directories with long filenames. But when I moved it to a directory
with the old naming conventions it worked just fine.

Borland is aware of the problem.
