BP 7.0 (TDW) and Windows NT 4.0

I try to use BP 7.0 from windows NT 4.0. The IDE works fine, but as soon as
I start the de{*word*81} TDW I get an error message that this program try's
to access the keyboard and mouse as 16bit windows does and that this is
not supported. If I acknowledge that TDW starts but no keyboard or mouse
entry is possible.

Does anyone know how I can solve that problem so that I can use TDW
from NT 4.0.

My limited knowledge of NT tells me that many 'old' programs that like
to access low level parts of a PC fall over on NT due to its protection
mechanisms....
I've have to use various utilities that write directly to a floppy disk
controller, fine on DOS, win31 win95 but nogo on NT. They need to be
completely rewritten....

There is a patch for Win95, but I am not sure if it will work for NT.
