Install Shield and BDE Install

Is it possible to create a single install program with Install Shiled,
or a similar program, that incorporates the BDE installation, for
Windows 3.1.  I believe you can do it for Windows 95 with Delphi 2,
so can I do the same for Windows 3.1, to make installs easier for
users?

Thanks in advance

Hi Rick,

I use the SetupMachine, which is a german program (but I believe it's
not very difficult to translate into english). SetupMachine has the
source for the installation routine and an EXE for the production. It
compresses files, is able to create program manager groups and icons,
inform the user what's to do, etc.
The BDE setup which comes on the D1 CD can be started by the
installation routine of SetupMachine, but can not be included totally
in the setup files, i.e. you have to ship the BDE setup
<CD-Drive>:\redist\bdeinst\disk* separately on 2 disks. Because I
found no way to start the installation from the hard disk - perhaps
after a download - and for some other reasons I think about using
Apollo instead of the BDE in the future.

EMail <to...@sos.mhs.compuserve.com> or fax <+49 821 2578250> for some
informations about SetupMachine.
