Include files in exe

Include files in exe

Is it possible to include, let's say a pcx in the compiled exe ?
There has to be some way of doing it, as a lot of demos have the
pictures and modules in the compiled exe.

Maybe this can only be done in asm ?

If it is bigger than 64kB it is not easy. Else try to convert it to an
object (using BINOBJ.EXE) and include it with $L. See examples
at the graphics stuff, where the fonts and the xxx.BGI are included
in the .EXE. If you have problems with the start adress, you will
have to convert the whole file to a list of DB statements, add a tiny
assembler function (which delivers the seg:ofs of your data) and
run the TASM with it.
