FYI, there is an alt.binaries.misc, an alt.binaries.sound.utils (albeit a bit
specific).  If you stole it there is alt.binaries.warez.ibm.pc.  There is
also the moderated comp.binaries.ibmpc  For virus source code there is
alt.comp.virus.source.code

There is always the numerous FTP sites across the world, and you can offer to
mail it to interested parties.

You are perfectly welcome to RFD a comp.lang.pascal.borland.units, as that is
your right under the 'democracy' that is usenet.

The pestilences who put postings of inordinate length in discussion groups
should be strongly discouraged, not applauded.  That sort of stuff should be
made available by FTP, or sent only to those who, knowing the length,
have specifically requested it.

I'm sorry, i hate it when people post binary stuff here to.  What i
should have said was 'Nice unit, but you should have made it
available in the usual way.  i.e Up it to garbo and send an email to
nice Mr Timo.' But this post wasn't really THAT big...

I said "inordinate length", not "binary".

Perhaps there is a case for something between News and Prof. T's Garbo;
an FTP site with, like News, uncontrolled input (but Cancel by Author
available) and an _automatic_expiry_ matching a typical news site.  Authors
of lengthy contributions could (& should) then send to the site and
announce in News.  Contributions of adequate & suitable value could
then be submitted to Garbo (etc) as usual.
