Windows Tutorial (or helpp txt files?)

can anybody tell be where one can find a windows programming/api text? I
know TurboVision and OOP well, but I first want to learn the raw API and
is usage before ObjectWindows and the like

Great idea! I wish more people would do it. Look for "Programming Windows 3.1"
by Charles Petzold. It concerns itself exclusivly with API programming.

Charles Petzold's book "Programming Windows" published by Microsoft Press is a
good source. There were several incarnations of it for the several Windows
versions. There are other books as well - check to see if any are in your
library.
