Newbie form question

Is there a way to print something directly on a form(not in a dialog box,
etc.), like you can in Visual Basic?

Yes, there are two ways. The uglier is to give your form an OnPaint
event handler. The disadvantage with this is that you may end up
trying to paint your stuff "underneath" some other control which
doesn't work very well<g>.

If all you need is to display some text, drop a TLabel on your form,
and just tweak the Caption property. If you need something more
complex, use a TImage.

Good luck.
