"Lost connection to MySQL server during Query"

Has anyone had this error using D6, dbExpress and Mysql 3.23.49 running on a
Linux server?

I get this error from time to time, at different places in the code.
Sometimes when I start a new transaction, sometimes when I just run a simple
"Select * from table where fieldname = value" query!

I'm using a TSQLConnection and a TSQLQuery object to connect to the MySQL
Server.

Need help!
