Unsupported 16 bit resource

I hope someone can help me.

When I download many of the example files from Delphi Websites, I
receive the following error message on loading the file and on trying
to compile it.

First message: Error creating Form. Invalid stream format

Second message: Unsupported 16 bit resource in file.

Is there anything I can download to correct this problem. I am
running Delphi 4.

That sounds like the error that arises when you try to load a project
with a "text DFM" into Delphi 4 or earlier (that didn't support them).
