Database Applications and Borland Database Engine

Hello,

When you create a Database applicatioin in Delphi 1.0 do you have to
install the Borland Database Engine on other computers to make your
program work??  Thank you for you help.

Yes.  There is a file in the Delphi Directory called Delpoy.txt. Therein
lie the answers...

YES, if the other computers don't have BDE on them.

yes, the engine install code is on the CD-ROM and is also downloadable from
the internet at Borland's WWW site.

Dann,

Yes you have ! You've to deploy the BDE according to the license constrains.
Within the Delphi 2.0 Client/Server suite, there is the InstallShield Express
which embeds already the BDE, once you select your data files (Tables and so on
...).
