Using an IDispatch Object to Interface with OLE Server

The automation object wizard in Delphi should be able to set this up for
you -- all you will need to do is to define the specified methods in the
type library editor.

Re:Using an IDispatch Object to Interface with OLE Server

I am using an OLE object in my Delphi 4 applications that periodically
needs to send me status messages of its progress.  The documentation I
have instructs me to provide the OLE server with an IDispatch object
with a set of pre-defined interfaces (names and argument types).  For
example, one method is called ReceiveProgress with the argument type of
longInt.

I would greatly appreciate any hints or ideas on how to implement this.

Jim
