InterBase v5.6 and InterClient support on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Server

Hi,

Does anyone know if InterBase v5.6 and the InterClient supplyed with v5.6
support Windows 2000 and/or Windows 2003 Server?

Thanks in advance.

Scott.

They don't *support* either one, because they predate both OSs.  I can
tell you, however, that IB 5.6 works fine on Win2000.  I'm not sure
about InterClient, but I've never heard any complaints.

With 2003 Server, however, I've seen reports of speed problems with IB
7, and until I have information to the contrary I'll presume that the
same is true of 5.6.  Borland is aware of the issue and plans to
address it soon.
