Hi,
I need to set longer than 255 chars of commandtext TSQLDataSet's property.
Working with mySQL currently, so suppose that transactions are not
supported.
It looks like:
CommandText := 'INSERT INTO TABLEX (FIELD1, FIELD2, FIELD3........FIELD40)
VALUES (:FIELD1, :FIELD2, :FIELD3, ....:FIELD40)';
Params[0].AsString := DataModule1.Dbf1.FieldByName('FIELD1').AsString;
.
.
.
ExecSQL;
Thanks for advice, Paul

Use a TSQLQuery instead of TSQLDataSet
