How write to Vga mem in protected mode?

How can i write to the Vga memory ($A0000:0) in borland pascal protected
mode ?
Mem[$A000:0] doesnt work.

mem[SegA000:0] works both in protected and real modes.

Use mem[sega000:0000];

sega000 is a variable set on initialization. It is also available in real
mode, where it always will equal $a000.
