DB Disconnect error s - Delphi 4.0/Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.0

I am having problems disconnecting from a stand-alone SQL Anywhere 6.0
(Adaptive Server etc..) database when closing down a Delphi 4.0 32-Bit
application. The application freezes on the {TDatabase Component}.Close
command. I've tried calling DBSTOP and have been getting some (occasional)
results from it, but they're not consistent.
