There is a (very good) graphics viewer called QPEG which you can get hold
of by following links from http://www.tu-clausthal.de/~inof/q.html

The registered version of this program includes fully documented source
code (in Pascal and Assembler) for JPEG decoding.  It doesn't cost that
much to register.
