paradox7 tables-creating secondary index without primary
has anyone done this successfully?
i can't seem to create a secondary (maintained) index without first
creating a primary.
However, i can do so using database desktop.
kinda strange.
heres a code snipit: (the table has only 5 fields - all strings)
procedure TfrmManit.SortNoticeTags;
begin
//this will just add an index to the notice tag table based on the
alpha field only.
//close the table
dmTick.tblNoticeTag.Close;
dmTick.tblNoticeTag.AddIndex('NewIndex', 'AlphaField',
[ixCaseInsensitive]);
