The fact that Borland owns the newsgroup and TeamB moderates it
doesn't negate the fact that you used a ridiculous analogy between
HEARING (involuntary) and READING (completely voluntary).
People coming here don't want to *have to* filter your rants and abuses
out. You are causing the problem, not they are, so why should they be
required to do something about it?
So don't er... complain about our moderation. If you behave, your
messages will not be cancelled. If you don't, they will. If you keep on
doing this, we will have to talk to Borland about different measures.

It's just an expression, Rudy...
And most expressions have an etymology. Why is it called 86ed?

Yet another ridiculous Rudy analogy.
Upon finding himself in frequent disagreement with several experts on
even basic matters, a rational individual would at some point at least
entertain the possibility that he, not they, was in the wrong.

There's some military connection there, I think. I can not remember, and
Google didn't seem to help.

Most analogies are imperfect in one way or another. Focusing on the
flaws while ignoring the message is pedantic.

Some say that the term had originated from what was once section 8 paragraph
6 of the New York City Liqour code. Supposedly, it read something along the
lines of bartenders being warned not to serve patrons who have had too much
to drink and ban anyone who causes trouble.

A newsgroup, owned by Borland, and moderated by TeamB. People posting
and reading here are Borland's guests. Your messages are disruptive and
often abusive, so I think the analogy stands.
I do not feel disrupted and abused. The guy may be boring but then
may be you are not a load of fun either. Reading your posts me thinks
that you are acting like a big overprotective politically correct
daddy.
