From my understanding, a call to "Configure BDE Start Block" with
the two path fields at the bottom (IDAPINST.DLL pathname & IDAPI
Config Template) left blank will fill these two values with the system
defaults.  I have no knowledge of why the French version would be any
different.

Hi,

I am experiencing a little problem with Wise Installation System and
the Delphi BDE. I need to create a multi-language installation
software (English and French).

First I created the english installation with every features that I
wanted to use and everything was working perfectly. The BDE was
install in the right directory and properly configured.

The problems began when I created the french installation. I
translated everything from english to french (installation messages)
but something went wrong. In the french installation, the BDE_DLL
variable is blank and it's supposed to contain C:\IDAPI.

Can you tell me where is the init propertie or how it work. I am not
supposed to initialise the BDE_DLL variable manually it's done
automatically but it's not working in the french installation.
