install of D5 Pro with Windows 2000 Pro

The installation was complete, i restarted and when i want to launch D5, i
get the message :

THe entry point of procedure
@PackageList@TOptionsPackageList@Add$....AnsiString1 is not found in library
CorIde50.bpl.

Please tell me how i can work on Windows 2000,
Best regards
Cyrille

I have had problems with Delphi ever since I got Win2k.
I sometimes get a similar message. Other times, the Library options don't
get loaded and I can't compile my app.
Sometimes, CodeRush can't get loaded...etc...

At first I thought Delphi had problems reading the registry settings but the
same thing started happening with Explorer and other apps (?!).
I'm not sure Delphi is problematic here. I think Win2k isn't properly
installed or Win2k simply isn't ready yet.
For example, my computer rebooted when reading the D5Pro Update (?!) That
never happened to me on NT 4.0

Sorry if this sounds discouraging.

It definately sounds like you might be having a hardware conflict with W2K.  I
know it is not a lot of help, but I can tell you that I've been having D5
running under W2K since Beta2 without any real problems.  The update patch also
installed without incident.  I'd start looking at what hardware might not be
working correctly.  I think MS has a list of compatible hardware on their
website.
