Attempting to install Delphi studio pro 7: the installation fails and I
get the following error meesage:
Error 1311.Source file not found:
E:\INSTALL\DELPHI~1.cab. Verify that the file exists
and that you can access it.
Now, the file is quite obviously present on the ROM drive. Can anyone
lend any assistance with this?
Thanks.

Hi Rich,
Check your registry in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDRoms. If AllocateCDRoms is equal
to 1,
set it to 0 and try installing again.
I had a similar experience to yours installing Delphi 7 on XP and the
above
advice solved my problem.
