Hello everybody,

Does anybody of you guys is using or has used OLEDB Direct Components Suite
instead
of Borland's ADO components?

I'm serious thinking about to use OLEDB Direct Components Suite, but need
somebody to tell me about how good is it or whatever.

My problem is that I'm working with large SQL Server 7.0 tables (about
130,000,000 rows) and Borland's ADO controls seems to be very slow
retrieving rows and updating rows from those large tables.

Any suggestions???

OLEDB Direct is _much_ faster. For this alone it is worthwhile. The downside
is it is a lower level interface, and requires a bit more effort and
know-how.
