I believe that the complaints in the forum serve to see that it
happens to the rest of the community that uses Delphi.
For sure. I don't believe Borland should necessarily be placed on some
pedestal where any criticism should not be allowed. Every Company can
always improve some part of their operation.
My whole point was that these criticisms must be *constructive*. I am
getting real sick of posts that are demonstratably (sic?) false,
especially posters who have been corrected but still fail to
acknowledge the correction.

Perhaps you think that a person who complaint is wanted to destroy to
Borland?
TBH, for some of these posters I can not for the life of me figure out
what their motive is. They no longer like Delphi, fine. They want to
use VS.NET, great! Why still hang around here {*word*75}ing about how VS is
better than Delphi (and usually with no substance to back up these
claims, BTW). Just get on with life and leave us to our beloved Delphi.
If you are a disenchanted Delphi user who *genuinely* wants to help
your favorite development tool climb its way up to gain more industry
market share, then you should be welcomed with open arms. Just ensure
your complaints are well reasoned, backed up with evidence, and not
persisted with once proven to be wrong. I think that is fair enough,
don't you?
No matter. I have decided Nick Hodges is on to something with the
"counter the negativity with positivity" trend his recent posts have
seemed to take, so this is the approach I think I will take from now on.
I'll also try to be better at ignoring all the FUD spreaders, and not
give them the satisfaction of replying. You never know, I might even
get to perform my very first plonking.
