Hide Start button or TaskBar?

Hi all,

Is there a way to hide the Windows Start button or the
TaskBar all together? If so, could you please post some
sample code? TIA.

Get handles to the windows:

var
taskbarhandle,
StartBtnHandle : hwnd;

taskbarHandle := FindWindow('Shell_TrayWnd', '');
startBtnHandle := FindWindowEx(taskbarhandle, 0, 'Button', '');

Hide/Show taskbar:
ShowWindow(taskbarhandle, SW_HIDE); // or SW_SHOW

Hide/Show Startbutton:
ShowWindow(startBtnHandlehandle, SW_HIDE); // or SW_SHOW

You wouldn't know how to disable the right-mouse button
system wide, or at least for right-clicking on the
desktop?
