Path Line on Install New Components?

Help . . .

The path line on the install new component is too too short. Is there
somewhat to extend this?

TIA,

There is only one way around this... You should put the components you
use the most into the same directory. To keep confusion minimal on my
system, I have a seperate subdirectory for each component and it's
documents and examples. Then I copy the component files, DCU, DCR,
RES, PAS into a seperate dir for the components I have installed. This
reduces some anoyances, but not all.

Dont bother typing in the path.  Just use browse and let Delphi do the
work.  After that's what computers are made for.  I do it all the time
and never fails

No there is no way to extend the path, and it doesn't make any
difference if you use Browse.

The best thing to do is to keep all your components in one or two
directories. I use one for tried and tested components, and one for
components I'm developing or testing.
