general protection violation error in Windows NT 4.0

I installed Delphi C/S 4 on Windows NT 4.0(with Service Pack 3).

After installing Delphi, I ran Database Desktop. When closing the Desktop, I
met the error "unexpected error.., General protection violation." and I
cannot run Desktop anymore.

Could you tell me What is problem?

I had the same problem until I installed the Maintenance Release 2 update.
Incidentally, previously used Delphi 3, and found some of my projects caused
problems in the IDE, such as GPFs in the VCL libraries. After hours of
banging my head, I deleted the .dsk files for the projects, and have had no
problems since.
