An update query is being executed on a large number of records which meet
certain key field criteria, with one field being updated (it doesn't seem
to matter which field). The query is causing the details from all memo
fields belonging to those updated records to be deleted.

The problem seems to occur on both Paradox 5 and Paradox 7 tables and using
BDE versions 5.01 and 5.1.

I have re-created the table in case it was corrupt; but this made no
difference.

Any ideas ???
