COM Component & VB

Hi,
i have written a COM component, which works fine when called by a delphi
program.
When i try to use the component from visual basic, i do not get parameter
information for a method of the component. In the type library editor i
added the method using LPSTR types.
When i try it with BSTR i get the parameter info but VB crashes, when the
component function is called.
What do i have to do, if i want to pass Strings from a delphi COM Component
to a VB program?
Any ideas?

Can you show the IDL with the BSTR and your VB code that crashes?
