32K Blob limit on Sybase SQl Anywhere

Hello,

Does anyone has solved 32K Blob field limit on D3 and SQL Anywhere 5.5?
Does anyone tried the evaluation version of D3 and SQL Anywhere Adaptive
Server 6.0?

I couldn't solve it yet.

Thanks,

Bye

Use Titan SQL Anywhere from www.reggatta.com
It handles BLOBs of any size with no problems.

Yes, in the last release of Titan SQLAnywhere all our major problems were
fixed and now we are EXTREMELY happy with it.  It is smokin fast and no BDE!
You'll need to make sure to get the 3.01m release though -- I don't believe
it's on their web site yet.  Write them and I'm sure they can get you a demo
(www.reggatta.com).

Call Sybase tech support and tell them your problem. You must specifically
tell them that you're using Delphi or C++ Builder (and hence BDE). They will
email you what they call 5.504 'Emergency Bug Fix'. Why they make it such a
pain to get this update I have no clue...

Anyway, this finally fixes the problem for both Delphi and C++Builder.

You can get the same patch from http://support.sybase.com
