I really value your humor sense.
But if you read carefully, you will see i?m not asking *when*. I?m
asking *where* will be announced.
Go here:
biz.yahoo.com/reports/stocks.html
Type in BORL and click the "get news" button.
It will be there within minutes after the announcement.
Hope this helps!

Re: Delphi 8 .NET shipping song.

Where is supposed to announce the shipping date of Borland 8 .NET?
I know, you may be think I am being impatient ...but i already pay it!
Sorry i just don't want sound like e{*word*277}d...

Re: Delphi 8 .NET shipping song.

Dang! I saw the subject, and opened your post in anticipation of a good
old fashioned sing-along :-(
So, just in case others had the same sense of disappointment I have
quickly hacked together a Delphi 8 shipping song we can all sing to. (Sung to
the tune of 'She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes')
They'll be shipping Delphi 8 when its ready(tm)
They'll be shipping Delphi 8 when its ready(tm)
I know its hard to wait
But I bet its gonna be great
They'll be shipping Delphi 8 when its ready(tm)
Danny's doing one last tweak just for the road
And Corbin's in his little dungeon cutting code
But lets not forget the others
Especially the bad bug swatters
They'll be shipping Delphi 8 when its ready(tm)
I'm sure this can be greatly improved upon (Its early and I haven't
finished my morning coffee yet), so feel free to offer your suggestions.

Re: Delphi 8 .NET shipping song.

If you use "Delphi Octane" instead of "Delphi 8" it scans better.

I heard it was actually RTM'd in July, but Microsoft and their
cyborg robots on the Supreme Court have dissuaded all manufacturing
plants from actually copying CD's until after Christmas. Then the
CIA and FBI will personally ispect each CD to make sure no {*word*194}
bits got included.
Borland's been forced into pretending the product wasn't ready yet,
with senior staff secretly abducted and held in the Air/Space
Defense complex...
Then again, that might have just been one of the voices in my head.
