Insert into MS SQL 7, 3rd rec, invalid cursor position

CONTEXT:
I'm inserting information from a text file into a MS SQL 7 table. I
call the TQuery.Insert method, set the various fields as needed, then
call TQuery.Post.

PROBLEM:
On the third record, I get the error "Invalid cursor position".

Ideas anyone?
