MS SQL Server 2000 with sql links

Hello
I tried creating an alias for the sql server db using the bde's sql links,
but couldn't open that alias.
Another alias, using odbc, works fine.
Any ideas?

1) You need the enterprise version of Delphi to connect to SQL-Server.
2) In any case, Microsoft have so changed the interface to SQL-Server, that
using the BDE is not a good idea.  Either use ODBC, or switch to ADO.
