Re: Delphi for PHP - I want it but...
Hi.
I'm developing applications since middle 80s comming from 3GL / flat files, transforming into OOP + relational database and finally embrance Web technologies. I now work as J2EE Architect / Developer but still do coding on Delphi (version 7 actually) for some C/S and custom small applications. I did a little TIBCO testing but I feel thst there is so much middleware (Webservices) to write. I just saw Delphi4PHP and I really impressed about how the applications looks. I known that the two demos are very basic ones but what I saw is enougth. I want but: 1. I wish Firebird and / or Postgres be supported. 2. Allow non US citizen (I live in Guatemala) to but it. Isn't possible to preorder in "Latin America"'s shop. 3. Electronic delivery. If applyes the same rate as buying a box of Delphi 2006pro, $70.00 of shipping is to high. Code Gear, are you there? --- posted by geoForum on delphi.newswhat.com |
