Paths in HTML pages as outputs2006-04-27 07:08:58 AM delphi65 I'm using Rave to generate HTML pages as an option for reports. However, these pages need to go onto a 'server' for access. I'm putting a 'header' logo on the pages when they print, and I want to put the same thing on the HTML pages. I'm generating every correctly. As long as I don't 'move' where the pages are. If I copy them to another machine, it {*word*88}s. Inside the HTML page it loads the header image from a hardcoded path. That is, if I 'target' my HTML output to C:\Test1\web I find that the HTML source tries to load my logo image with something like C:/test1/web/0005.jpg I'm also finding that if I generate a 'preview' first, when I go to save my HTML, it references where I was mucking with the data. For example, if I have all my data in C:\Test1\results when I find that the HTML code puts 0001.jpg, 0002.jpg, and so on (one for each page of the report) in the data file, and my HTML pages (All but the first one of a 6 page report) actually have the image at C:/test1/results/0001.jpg where the 0001.jpg actually changes 0001, 0002, 0003, and so on. (It makes multiple copies of the jpg file for my logo. How can I get the HTML script to be just to load the image where it's at? I suppose I could write a quick program that looks for the path and changes it, like change IMG Src="C:/test1/results/0003.jpg" to read just IMG Src="0001.jpg" for every page I pump out, but that really defeats what I am trying to do. I need to get this problem solved to deliver by tomorrow. Any quick ideas? Mike Yetsko |
