Do the users have access to the driver directory?  Is it possible to
create a
directory on all the clients that contains the bgi and chr files?

Do the users only have rights to see the files, but not to read them?

Security reasons?  What security reasons?  Are you afraid that someone
will hack
the system while using the bgi drivers? (I'd like to see someone do
this.. :P)

Well, I don't have any experience under NT or 95 networks, so all this
advice
was just general Netware 3.12 stuff.. hope it helps..

But thats just my opinion on the subject... if I'm wrong, please do
correct me.

This question pertains to running TP7 from an NT 4 server.
In our classroom situation, we use TP7 loading from the server to Win 95
client stations.  The NT lab is new.  Under Novell things ran smoothly.
Under NT, TP runs ok but paths to the graphics drivers don't seem to "operate".
The graphics drivers can be viewed and the path identified, but to no apparent
avail.  If the drivers (i.e. the \bgi directory) are copied to the local
hard drive and the path set accordingly, no problem.  For security reasons I
want to keep the Turbo stuff on the server.
Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.

Actually, this should be very possible. Depending on the location of the swap
file though. The swap file does actually contain Uncrypted login/passwords at
certain times. Hacking the bgi driver, and substitute some functions with asm
versions that maipulate the swapfile is hard work, but possible,
