Is there a way to apply an input mask to
a regular TEdit similar to the one that is
for the TDBEdit?

Stewart:

Try using the maskedit component instead of tedit.  (it is on the
additional panel of the designer).  It is functionally close to tedit, but
allows for the mask you need.
