I'm writing an application using shared tables on a Novell 3.12 server
and I would like to lock a specific record.

"Easy... just use the Edit method on the current record !"

Yes, but the trouble is that the lock is released when I move to another
record in the table. I would like the lock to stay active even if I move
to another record.

Does anyone have an idea to do it ???
