Anybody know how to get this working? The compiler flatlines the server at
100% under W2K - but works ok under NT.

In my experience, on Win2k on a PC the IDE takes 100% cpu when you're
doing something on it, then 'relaxes' when your not. The reason is
that the IDE runs a loop waiting on your keypress - it's designed for
a single tasking OS where doing this ok, a windows app has a more
elegant multitasking way of waiting on messages via the OS to allow
other apps to get some cpu time too (ofcourse if you type at 500Mhz
you'll likely cause some cpu loading!).
I've no experience on NT, perhaps this manages the 'using it/not using
it' balance better in some way, or your settings related to the app
are different.
